1) Private Membership Compact

EdensTrust Employee-Owned Community Capital Company offers a membership option through EdensBay Marketplace. This is a private, voluntary membership platform demanding trust, honor, and integrity of each participant.

By choosing to become a member, you acknowledge that this is a private space, distinct from public commerce and public forums. Please note: Membership is NOT required to use EdensBay marketplace. Membership is an intentional step for those who wish to participate more fully in building EdensTrust and stewarding shared revenue into mutually chosen projects. 

Membership is based on good faith and the Golden Rule. Members agree to act honestly, without coercion or deception, and to seek resolution of differences through dialogue and mediation rather than litigation. EdensTrust maintains a Natural Justice process (NUJ tm) to support this aim and protect the dignity of all involved.

EdensTrust reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or revoke membership—with or without use of the NUJ process—where conduct is harmful, deceptive, disruptive, or fundamentally incompatible with the purposes and values of the membership space.

 Acceptance of this agreement makes you a stakeholder in EdensTrust, and confers beneficiary status while the member remains active and in good standing. Membership is not in an of itself, an offer to employ the member. 

EdensTrust, when EdensBay generates profitability in a financially sustainable manner, may share surplus benefits to beneficiary members equally.  No distribution is guaranteed, and no assumption of profitability is made.

By entering this agreement, members affirm a shared intention: to rebuild trust, restore right relationships, and participate in something created for the good of people, land, and future generations.

2) Community & Organizational Participation

EdensTrust (through EdensBay gateway) welcomes participation from communities, organizations, and collectives that choose to align with its purpose and values.

Participating Organizations operate as autonomous entities, retaining their purpose and speciality. 

Organizations agree to engage in good faith and to use EdensBay’s Natural Justice process (NUJ) for internal problems arising within the membership space. The

Steward Trustees reserve the right to discontinue participation of any Membership Organization or member whose actions are incompatible with the EdensTrust mission or the good-faith operation of membership regardless of contribution or participation status.

3) Nature of Membership & Participation

Membership in EdensTrust is voluntary and may be entered into or exited at any time. Membership is initiated by payment of Membership Initiation Contribution (MIC) or barter agreement with the Steward Trustees, and remains in effect for life while the member remains active and in good standing. Members may put membership into dormancy. Dormant status does not terminate membership and may be resumed, however, during dormancy, the beneficiary elements are also dormant and the allied coin is zeroed out and begins to accrue only upon reinstitution. Allied coins are non transferable upon placing the membership in dormancy or exiting membership.  Allied Coins are non refundable and EdensTrust does not buy them back.

4) Private Jurisdiction, Consent & Resolution

Membership is a private, voluntary contractual relationship with all other members. Members agree to engage and participate in our Natural Justice process (NUJ tm) as means of resolving disputes within the membership space. This commitment does not apply to matters involving credible threats of physical harm, criminal violence, or situations requiring immediate safety or lawful reporting.

Members commit to participating in EdensTrust and on EdensBay Marketplace in alignment with our mission purpose, including:

• rebuilding food production infrastructure toward regenerative and organic practices,

• supporting small and medium-sized enterprises that contribute to a wholesome society and human well-being, and

• establishing durable, ethical prosperity for members and their communities.

Any intentional effort to undermine or damage EdensBay Marketplace or EdensTrust or its members through lawfare, frivolous claims, false allegations, deliberate misinformation, theft of intellectual property, or malicious rumors constitutes a material breach of this agreement. In such cases, EdensTrust may suspend or terminate membership, revoke access and privileges, and seek appropriate remedies beyond NUJ, as available by law.​
